في ظل انتهاء الإيمي Emmy Awards 2024 وغيرها من المهرجانات الدولية التي تتعلق بالسينما والتلفزيون، حان دور مهرجان بافتا لهذا العام والذي سيقام في 18 فبراير في مركز ساوثبانك في لندن.
يكرم هذا المهرجان كل الأعمال التي تعرض على الشاشة الكبيرة وذلك خلال عام كامل وكان فيلم Oppenheimer للمخرج كريستوفر نولان ، الذي بدأ يحصد اليوم الجوائز تباعًا، الأكثر نيلًا للتصويت ليكون ضمن الترشيحات حيث حصد 13 ترشيحًا مقابل Poor Things مع 11 ترشيحاً.
